We, Peter & Amanda Hoogenboom, warmly welcome you to Hofstede Welland!

If you are looking for some quiet and some space, then you have come to the right place. Whether you prefer an accommodation in one of our FarmLofts, Lodges or Chalet, you are guaranteed an outstanding stay! We have consciously chosen a small-scale setup for our company.

During your stay, you will be able to genuinely unwind and optimally enjoy yourself! Personal attention, for you as our guest, in a relaxed atmosphere. We are happy to tell you more about our wonderful spot and everything the beautiful area has to offer.

In November 2017, we were honoured to receive the Zeeland Heritage Award from the Farmers Foundation Zeeland. We received this award for our effort to maintain a piece of cultural heritage, and we are very proud of it. A crowning glory of our work.

History

Hofstede Welland has a rich history tracing back to the 13th century. Back then, this location was home to a castle. The current farm was built in the 16th century and is probably built on top of the foundation of that castle.

The gentlemen of Welland were the owners until the 19th century. In 1819, the family Hoogenboom takes residence in the farm. It has been a family possession for 5 generations.

Furnishing new Beachlodge

In recent weeks we have been busy with the design of the new Beachlodge. We have tried to create a warm, summery atmosphere and we think we have succeeded! The terrace still has to be laid outside and the canopy built. From April this beautiful lodge can be rented but can already be reserved!
