Beaches

In Zeeland, there’s always a beach nearby – after all, we have more than 600 km of coastline.
For years they have been top rated for being clean. And offering you shelter and space in the dunes and on the dikes for long carefree days in the sun and sea.

The beach of Noordwelle

Is a family and sports beach. The beach is home to beach pavilion Corazon, which is open year-round. The beach is close to Brouwersdam, where you can practice all kinds of beach sports. The beach of Noordwelle is also open for surfing. Further along Brouwersdam, there are beaches allowing kitesurfing and riding kitebuggies.

Natural beach

Middenpad is part of the beaches of the head of Schouwen. It is close to Nieuw-Haamstede and Forestry Westerschouwen. The sea here is part of the conservation area ‘Voordelta’. It is home to many birds, fishes and seals. Birds use the dunes as breeding site. And you will sometimes catch the seals sunbathing on tidal sandbanks.

Family beach

Jan van Renesseweg lies at the edge of the Renesse seaside, on the coast of Schouwen. From the Jan van Renesseweg beach, you have a view over the North Sea. Here you will find shops, as well as a beach pavilion on the beach.
